i too agree it's overrated/ but like it lots anyway. rufus w absolutely kills it on his guest song. and hope there's someone is precious. can i get a witness?

You know, until this weekend I would have been tempted to agree with you and it may well be that I still am, but yesterday a friend managed to talk me into giving him/it/them a closer listen which I did and I was kind of sold. I do agree that what he's doing probably translates best in NY or in a NY setting, but I don't think that ought to discount it. Anyway, all this to say that I'm going to grab the album tomorrow and see if I can or can't get into it. Not that anybody really cares...
