Fast-talked in short strings of characters by persuasive friends, and against my better judgment, I am now @carlzoilus on that ubiquitously mentioned social-networking service. Personally I am more down with Facebook’s imaginary-city, three-dimensional model than the octopus-telegraph or chattering-birdnest of Twitter, I think, but I’m giving it a try. I don’t expect to be setting off many fireworks, @least @first.

Why? I know millions of people are at it, but are they your millions? Dude I’m not on facebook or myspace or any of that s&*# and yet somehow my life continues to have meaning and I’m able to read and enjoy your posts… Just saying.
Hi Carl, glad to see you are tweeting. I think it will help me connect to Zoilus a little more often (just for starters)
Also, I will follow you because you are someone I wish I ran into more often but do not so…this is better than nothing.
tweet!

For what I do, channels of information are useful. Folx I respect have told me they’ve found Twitter a good information channel. (Facebook on the other hand I like as a social thing.) I don’t (I hope) invest life-meaning there.
You know, you’re right. I’m sure I’m the only person still thinking about this, but for the record I don’t know what my problem was there. Not sure why I needed to say something about that, but what I did say was dumb. Sorry about that.
